Forest
How I improved the listing creation process and created a subscription plan for mobile and tablet users.

Who is Forest?

In Japan, most real estate agents rely on printed listings to sell properties, which has a negative impact on the environment. Forest created an online platform for real estate sales, driven by their mission to protect nature and offer a more convenient solution for agents and buyers alike.

The Problem

The listing viewing and data entry screens were optimized only for desktops. Due to the poor mobile interface, they were losing users who primarily accessed the platform via phones and tablets. Additionally, the subscription page lacked a clear hierarchy, failing to motivate users to subscribe to the service.

Challenges

Everyone knows Japanese, right? The main challenge was creating a responsive interface tailored to the Japanese market and user needs. Throughout the project, the CTO provided guidance on working with the text and local specifics. ありがとう。

Results

I made changes that led to significant improvements, resulting in a higher conversion rate, increased mobile usage, and a simplified listing creation process for users across all devices.
